Five
club members hit the road to visit our favorite wood and tool stores.
We covered East Wake Hardwoods. We then visited the Woodworking
Shop and Woodcraft for tools. After eating lunch, we stopped by
the North Carolina Museum of Art to look at a 15th century limewood
carving by Tilman Reimenschneider – which was very cool.

Five
members setup a display along Nash Street for the all-day Whirligig
Festival. A great day watching the people and talking about carving.
We hope to be invited back for this year’s festival and this time
we intend to try and do some sales.
