| Top: Christmas tree ornaments carved from Basswood, Sugar Pine and Tupelo wood. Started carving ornaments when first of five grandchild was born in 1980. Each child and my wife got one each year since. Last one, the red bird was carved in 2005... a favorite for many at Christmas. |

"My Bird" - Basswood, 6" tall Right: "Chain" - Carved in 1989 from a limb that fell from a Red Cedar tree on the farm of my wife's family in the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia. The limb was about 4 feet long. I Had the limb around for 10 years before I carved the chain. |
